Overview:
Well established buy side trading firm is seeking a Corporate Development / Strategist with 10 plus years of experience to identify, quantify and develop plans for new business opportunities.
Must have prior trading / portfolio management experience in addition to experience developing or analyzing new business strategies.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Identifying and defining strategic priorities in close collaboration with leadership
Building relationships across trading groups to identify opportunities and to expand into new or incremental opportunities
Helping drive implementation of new initiatives, in partnership with the relevant desk and a dedicated project manager
Delivering concrete and data-based business planning recommendations to senior leaders
Identifying and investigating new business opportunities using market data and other market insights
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of total experience with at least 3 years in a trading or money management capacity specifically in options market making and/or proprietary trading
Ability to leverage data to analyze and quantify new business opportunities
Deep understanding of derivative markets
Previous derivative trading experience preferred, but not required
$150,000 to $200,000
