Overview

Our client is a premier, global, boutique investment management shop.  They’re looking for someone to lead marketing for their private wealth/HNW channel. This role is based in their Midtown office. They're looking for a strategic marketer covering all parts of the funnel. This person will work directly with the business to craft all marketing strategy in the HNW channel. Must have firsthand marketing experience within private wealth, high net worth, or wealth management.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Experience in the private client space and/or financial advisory business.

  • Develop strategic plans for the Wealth Management Channel

  • Partner closely with the business leads for the Wealth Management Team, Private Asset Management Team and the Trust Company

  • Strong project management skills – developing, implementing and monitoring.

  • Deep investment knowledge across all asset classes and product vehicle types

  • Ability to engage with key stakeholders throughout the organization including sales, management, portfolio managers, compliance and legal and research

  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and best practices with respect to program strategies, events, content etc.

  • Experience successfully managing events, coordinating branded campaigns and working with outside vendors as well as internal resources. 

  • Strong writing and editing skills, experience with digital drip programs and website strategies

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA in liberal arts or business, advanced degree preferred

  • Seven years directly relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of competitive landscape

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in teams and collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals.

  • Understanding of client base, industry trends and best practices

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to interact effectively with senior executives.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing with manager.
