Overview

Our client, a global Financial Services Company, is seeking a Small Business Product Manager to join their New York City office. The Small Business Product Manager is a collaborative product leader with a customer-centric mindset that leads the vision, product planning, product management, go-to-market strategies, and operational model for the company’s Small Business Segment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development disruptive innovative solutions for transactional, payment, and lending needs of the small business segment with a customer-centric mindset

  • Conduct analysis of business opportunities, understanding of market gaps, identify emerging segments and business trends

  • Drive the product development process and work in partnership with internal stakeholders across product development, sales, marketing, credit, legal, finance, compliance, operations, and executive management

  • Define, update, and execute the small business segment multi-year roadmap

  • Drive prioritized backlogs based on the consistent feedback analysis to continuously enhance the customer experience

  • Research and document product requirements to ensure that products meet business needs, performance objects, and deliver an exceptional customer experience

  • Train and communicate segment features, benefits, and performance through formal presentations and bank-wide written communications

  • Implement and monitor the segment strategies through initiatives on acquisition, cross-selling, service upgrade, customer loyalty, and retention

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of Financial Services experience in Product Management particularly in the areas of Small Business and/or Commercial Credit Card programs

  • Proven experience with Design Thinking/Human Centered Design product development methodologies, as well as agile product management and writing user stories

  • Project management skills with ability to lead and engage in cross-regional and cross-functional teams

  • Deep understanding of small business segment financial needs
