Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Second Assistant to CEO in their NYC based office.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

This role will provide support to the CEO’s office in conjunction with the existing executive support.  The primary focus of the position is to provide back-up and in some instances supplement support to the CEO’s office.  The ideal candidate will be flexible and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.  The position has high visibility and requires an intelligent, mature and discreet individual.

Hours:  9:00am-6:00pm.  Flexibility on hours is required as there may be overtime required.  The position also requires the candidate to monitor office emails during non-working hours.

Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required

  • Five years’ experience in a similar capacity is preferred

  • Some direct interactions with c-suite executives is preferred

  • Polished presentation and pleasant telephone manner

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly organized, keen attention to detail and excellent follow through skills

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

  • Work effectively independently and collaboratively

  • Is capable of a high degree of diplomacy and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information

  • A “no task is too small” attitude

  • Must be able to receive and apply constructive feedback

  • Must be adaptable to systematic approach

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac applications
