Second Assistant to CEO

Our client is looking for an experienced Second Assistant to CEO in their NYC based office.
This role will provide support to the CEO’s office in conjunction with the existing executive support. The primary focus of the position is to provide back-up and in some instances supplement support to the CEO’s office. The ideal candidate will be flexible and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. The position has high visibility and requires an intelligent, mature and discreet individual.
Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm. Flexibility on hours is required as there may be overtime required. The position also requires the candidate to monitor office emails during non-working hours.
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
Five years’ experience in a similar capacity is preferred
Some direct interactions with c-suite executives is preferred
Polished presentation and pleasant telephone manner
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly organized, keen attention to detail and excellent follow through skills
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Work effectively independently and collaboratively
Is capable of a high degree of diplomacy and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
A “no task is too small” attitude
Must be able to receive and apply constructive feedback
Must be adaptable to systematic approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac applications
