Overview:

A Literacy Educational Technology company seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast territory for their Massachusetts office. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing business development plans and a team of sales professionals. They also will monitor new business origination and renewals, accurate forecast performance, development and nurturing of customer relationships and provide leadership for strategic accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead strategy to gain new business while maintaining existing ones

  • Analyze account development and service priorities, as well as set goals for results and develop new customer relationships.

  • Travel with sales representatives to meet new customers and support sales representatives throughout the sales process

  • Drive new sales and expansions and manage regional events to maximize return on investment

Qualifications:

  • BA degree and 10+ years’ of success selling into K-12 school districts

  • Experience as proven sales leader and ability to manage high-skilled sales professionals

  • Knowledge of southeastern states and educator/administration experience preferred

  • Ability to uncover needs of clients and create solutions to exceed sales goals and revenue targets

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM and sales forecasting tools, Salesforce.com preferred

  • Excellent communication, writing, and managing skills

  • Proven ability to develop relationships and deliver product presentation and written proposals

  • Reside closely within regional airport in FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, MD, DC, NJ and travel up to 60% of time
