Our client, a Real Estate Investment Trust Company, is seeking a Project Manager, in their Carlsbad, CA office. This position reports to the VP of Construction in the Region, and is responsible for the management, coordination, and general oversight of all assigned construction activities undertaken at company owned or managed properties.
Manages assigned construction-related tasks associated with redevelopment, tenant improvement, and certain new construction projects in their assigned region including but not limited to: project planning, estimating, lease exhibit preparation/negotiation, plan reviews, contract negotiation and administration
Manages projects to achieve project goals and fulfill all lease commitments according to approved schedule & budget.
Organize and track multiple tenant improvement projects and insure tenant spaces are delivered on time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with concentration in construction, engineering, or architecture
5+ years’ direct construction management experience; or 3 years construction experience combined with 2-3 year architectural/engineering experience
Strong construction industry knowledge base, ability to read and understand architectural and civil/site plans
Knowledge of CAAD desirable
