A Leading Investment Management Company seeks a Product Manager to communicate information related to assigned funds to all stakeholders and understand all investor needs and decision making processes.
Understand all investor needs and the primary features and benefits of successful funds in each channel
Understand the investment category and asset class of each assigned funds
Create a fund profile for each assigned fund- strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Identify competitors for assigned funds such as other mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, institutional funds, and other vehicles
Define and update funds marketplace positioning by giving the fund a single identity and three key sales points
Propose market efforts and fund’s positioning as well as build marketing materials and work with the firm’s marketing communications department
Monitor all public and internal reports and investment category and fund assets and other market metrics
Other assigned duties
5-7 years’ of relevant marketing experience in an investment management firm and have experience with emerging markets
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics; CFA preferred
Understands marketing and its process
Strong communication, project management and interpersonal skills
Works well with others and independently as well as strong organizational skills
Knowledge of UCITS funds a plus
