Long-Term Expense Controller

Our client, a leading Insurer, is seeking a Long-term Expense Controller, in their New York office.
Support the Banks analytical and financial reporting processes
Departmental Reporting: upload data from GL system into the budgeting system daily, update transactional data for operating expensive and selected balance sheet accounts
Assist in monitoring of operating expense accounts in the Banks general ledger for accuracy, preparation of service fee income analysis report, publishing monthly project racking reports that capture actual vs/ budgeted expenditures
Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: participate in the review of the baseline operating expenses, service fees, and revenue submissions
Assist in the development of the annual capital forecast for the current year, and the amount to be carry forward into the following year
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics; MBA or MS in Finance preferred
Previous experience in financial reporting and projections of total operating expenses and capital expenditure in banking/financial sectors
Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
