Overview

Rockwood Search is seeking a current college student (internship) or recent graduate (full time), to join their team as a Junior Recruiter. The ideal candidate would be extremely outgoing, driven, and detail-oriented. Amazing opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of recruiting while developing fundamental business skills, including the opportunity to actively engage, and build relationships with clients in a variety of high-level industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates that can fill needs across Financial Services (Front to Back Office); Blockchain; STEM and Engineering (Environmental, Civil and Geotechnical)

  • Search for potential candidates by utilizing multiple online resources, including social media networking  (i.e. LinkedIn)

  • Interview and evaluate candidates to gauge skillset and experience, and interest in current & future job opportunities

  • Prep candidates before interviews with clients; keep candidates up-to-date and informed on their candidacy  

  • Publish job ads on career pages and job boards (ZipRecruiter, Indeed, LinkedIn); screen candidate applications

  • Research innovative recruiting strategies and trends, or new resources for sourcing potential talent

  • Utilize inter-personal and communication skills to create talent pipeline, and maintain positive relationships with candidates & clients for future opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task
