Overview

Our client, a global investment firm, is seeking an HTML & UI/UX Designer in their Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years working in a professional, corporate environment and have experience with Angular JS, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate the UI/UX design wireframes (web) and/or plain text (emails) to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Work closely with the UI/UX team, CMS and eMail administrators to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
  • Provide development for HTML5, XML, JavaScript, CSS and other languages (jQuery, AJAX or Angular JS a plus)
  • Single and multi-page website/application design and wireframing
  • Analyze complex user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing system design
  • Review and modify programs to ensure technical accuracy, security and reliability
  • Develop and execute unit test cases
  • Provide quality documentation and status updates
  • Project management

Qualifications and Requirements:

    • 3+ years’ experience with Angular JS, specifically writing advanced components such as directives, promises and services (a plus)
    • 3+ years’ experience with a variety of languages, such as HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, UI related tools, API's, motion graphics, and animation
    • Experience with Java skills (Java 8 experience a plus), web services, writing unit/smoke tests, and use cases
    • Four-year college degree. A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, a plus
    • Experience working with digital marketing technology platforms, including CMS Content Management Systems (EpiServer) and Email Service Platform (Marketo)
    • Basic understanding of the web development/production cycle, including knowledge of cross-browser/platform issues, is a plus
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
