Overview

Our client, a leading global asset management firm is seeking a Senior HR Generalist. This position will act as a HR business partner and trusted advisor to the function business heads and other senior leadership focused on a broad range of transformational talent agenda designed to attract, retain and develop top talent for the company within the Americas market. Reporting to the US Consulting Co-Leads, the Senior HR Consultant will develop and implement Human Resources “best in class” programs/procedures which will provide and maintain superbly skilled and highly motivated employees to meet the company’s current and future requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and tactical level of guidance and support for client groups’ organizational planning and development initiatives that align the firms’ human resources agenda in support of key business strategies and initiatives in client groups

  • Ensure that strategic human capital initiatives in client groups align as appropriate across the broader organization;

  • Provide state-of-the-art HR services to internal customers by consistent application of the best HR tools and processes including IT systems, all relevant contractual compensation & benefits elements and employee retention activities

  • Develop and ensures flawless execution of highly commercial HR strategies, within own authority level

  • Determine and plan client groups’ organizational requirements, in conjunction with department heads and all line managers to fill vacancies by promotion, transfer or external recruitment to provide the most effective workforce

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent technology skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point

  • Experience working in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced/results-oriented environment; prioritization, and ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven experience building strong business partnerships and executive presence; able to establish credibility and support with operating leaders and Human Resource team

  • Strong decision-making skills; interpersonal and communications skills
