Overview

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is seeking a Head of Retail and Wealth Management Channel Marketing to join as a new key member to their Global Marketing and Communications team. The Head of Retail and Wealth Management Channel Marketing will manage and head their entire retail channel marketing efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing for NBD, IBD, RIA, and PB client segments and enterprise relationships to improve client awareness and target market penetration, and deliver distinctive and impactful client experiences.   

  • Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues and sales and product management teams to support the launch, promotion and management of investment themes, products and client service capabilities

  • Drive high awareness of investment products and solution provided to financial intermediaries

  • Partner with product and marketing functional experts to plan and implement large scale campaigns and projects

  • Partner with compliance department to ensure adherence to regulations and policies related to investment product marketing

  • Develop annual marketing plans and thematic or product promotional creative briefs that deploy both traditional and digital strategy and execution techniques

  • Work with Business Analytics team to understand preferences and behaviors of target markets; work with Content and Thought Leader ship Teams to develop materials to support client nurturing and development efforts

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA/BS  in Marketing, Communications or related field required; MBA preferred

  • 15+ years of marketing experience; 5+ years of leadership experiences

  • Marketing experience specifically in intermediary asset management industry, and understand of industry’s unique client segment needs

  • Superior knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, ETS, financial markets, investing concepts, and compliance rules and regulations related to mutual fund investing
