Overview

Our client, a real estate investment company, is seeking an Executive Assistant in their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, is highly organized, and a self-motivated individual.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Have a thorough understanding of the priorities and deliverables of the VP Urban Development, and provide the day to day administrative support to help achieve those goals
  • May be asked to create easy to understand documents for the VP to present to other executives
  • Maintain schedule - knowing what can/cannot be moved/cancelled, being aware of who should be included in meetings, and scheduling to ensure that critical participants are able to attend
  • Organize and structure file management system
  • Draft and/or proof correspondence, as required
  • Liaison between VP Urban Development and vendors/employees, as needed
  • Coordinate interdepartmental meetings and communications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working with a developer or contractor of multi-residential properties, a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Communications, or Business Administration
  • ·3-5 years’ experience as an assistant at an executive level
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office applications and some experience with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create schedules, budgets, presentations, charts, and reports
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of construction procedures and project management principles, a plus
