Our client, a Real Estate Investment Company, is seeking a Corporate Communications Associate, to join their Marketing, Investor Relations, Communications team, in their New York City office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations: work with communications team to develop and execute global PR strategy including drafting and editing press released, contributing to development of story pitches, scheduling/managing press release distribution, monitoring and tracking media coverage, maintain press lists

  • Internal Communications: Draft emails and coordinate with Marketing team, provide communications support for company-wide events

  • Social Media and Website: develop social media content, manage accounts and monthly content calendars (Twitter, FB, LinkedIn, YouTube)

  • Corporate Communications: monitor new technologies and engagement opportunities, work with digital team to conduct regular reviews of website, update existing content, ensure all deliverables meet key objectives

  • Advertising/Marketing: assist with strategy and planning, manage vendor relations and ad deadlines, contribute to development of ad copy and work with designers on creative, update portfolio factsheets

  • Annual Reports: assist with development of annual report strategy, themes and key messages, contribute to writing, editing and copy-editing, secure data for graphs, tables, and other visuals

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA/BS; 2-4 years of professional experience in a PR/corporate communications role, or financial/real estate media publication or organization

  • Financial services industry experience a plus

  • Experience in PR metrics, research tools, and media monitoring

  • High proficiency with social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube
