Overview:

A Leading Early Childhood Education Company seeks a Business Development Manager for their Georgia territory. Responsibilities include researching and partnering with various school districts to work on extended day programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic sales and plans to meet corporate goals

  • Create new partnerships and contracts with school districts to introduce and offer product

  • Enhance relationships with partners to expand footprint and follow up on generated sales leads to create new opportunities

  • Attend conferences to advocate product and partner with finance and operations teams for prospect partnerships

  • Develop understanding of competitors to guarantee a leading edge and facilitate post-sale transition to operations team, as well as utilizing Salesforce.com as the primary CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in business, education or related field and 3+ years’ experience of K-8 education sales

  • Skill in development and implementation of successful sales plans and quota achieved

  • Excellent communication skills and goal oriented, as well as ability to work within a team

  • Salesforce experience preferred

  • Traveling up to 60% of time
