Overview:

Seeking a Business Development Manager in Texas to develop strategic sales and marketing plans for a national K-8 school program.

Responsibilities:

  • Create new partnerships with school networks and districts to expand footprint

  • Generate sales and follow-up of marketing sales with a high conversion rate to revenue generating opportunities

  • Attend networking events to advocate the brans and create partnerships to create growth and sales

  • Negotiate contract terms to maximize revenue and minimize risk

  • Prepare presentations and deep understanding of the product and program

  • Facilitate post-sale transition to operations team and use Salesforce.com as main CRM system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, education or related field and 3+ years’ of sales experience K-8

  • Achieve sales quota and ability to develop and implement sales plans

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Familiar with Salesforce and ability to travel 60% of time
