Overview

Our client, a K12 Ed-Tech company is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales by developing and prospecting  your territory and working inbound sales leads

  • Develop a territory plan and execute in order to exceed sales quota

  • Develop relationships with district administrators and be responsible for all sales within your assigned territory

  • Drive revenue growth in K-12 public school districts

  • Provide live demonstrations to prospects via web conferencing 

  • Execute face to face meetings with interested prospects

  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close

  • Overcome customer objections by demonstrating negotiation skills and ability to sell benefits not features

  • Maintain a strong level of knowledge about company products and services; maintain a strong understanding of assigned territory, education vertical competitive offerings

Qualifications:

  • Teaching and or school/district leadership experience required

  • Consultative sales experience; successful K12 Ed sales experience a plus 

  • Proficient use of Salesforce

  • Excellent phone, written, and verbal skills; excellent business development skills and negotiation skills

  • Well organized with efficient time and territory management skills

  • Some travel required
